Access to the ticket booth is closed until 1 hour before closure.

Montpoupon is situated in Touraine, 240 kilometres from Paris on the D764 between Montrichard and Loches, 15 kilometres east of Chenanceaux, and south of Amboise castle and Cheverny. You have the possibility of visiting the Loire castles on bike, with a camping car or staying with a family, we are near to Chaumont castle, plus Langais, Valençay, Beauregard, Montresor and Valmer…

Access by the A85:
From Tours 45 min exit N°11-Bléré, coming from Vierzon exiting at Noyers-sur-Cher – Saint-Aignan.
Travel time from Paris:
– 2:15 by autoroute A10 exit Blois or Amboise.
– 55 mins by T.G.V. from Montparnasse (Paris) to Saint Pierre Des Corps (Tours),
then 20 min TER Tours – Montrichard.

A shaded car park is at your disposition…there is a refill pump for electric cars…plus an area where you can leave your bikes in the main square of the castle…. If you preferred method of transport is riding, there is also a suitable place to leave your horse box.
