What if you come to Montpoupon by bike with the Loire by bike program, or just for a little ride? There is a spot at the château where you can park the bikes. You can also leave your helmet and other belongings at the reception for the time of your visit. We can also recommend other trails around Montpoupon:

ACCESS TO THE CHATEAU
Montpoupon is located in Touraine, 240 kilometres from Paris on the D764 between Montrichard and Loches, 15 kilometres east of Chenonceaux, and south of Amboise and Cheverny. We are located near Chaumont, Langeais, Valençay, Beauregard, Montrésor and Valmer…
Access by the A85:
From Tours 45 min exit N°11-Bléré, coming from Vierzon exiting at Noyers-sur-Cher – Saint-Aignan.
Travel time from Paris:
– 2:15 by autoroute A10 exit Blois or Amboise.
– 55 min by T.G.V. from Montparnasse (Paris) to Saint Pierre Des Corps (Tours),
then 20 min TER Tours – Montrichard.

Parking:
A shaded car park is at your disposal with a refill pump for electric car plus an area where you can leave your bikes in the main square of the château. If your preferred method of transport is riding, there is also a suitable place to leave your horse.

Located in the authentic and charming setting of the Bailly Mill, the Château’s Inn “L’auberge du Château” offers homemade, local and delicious cooking, right next to the Château of Montpoupon, in the heart of the Loire Valley.
Open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 2pm and for dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 7pm to 8:30pm.
Two rooms are reserved to groups and can each host up to 120 patrons.
