TRAVERSING HISTORY

A fortified castle dating back to the middle ages, was built under Charlemagne, Montpoupon was transformed in the XVIth century to become a Renaissance castle by Aymar de Prie, a great crossbowman under the reign of François 1st. From the Kings chamber to the Marshals chamber, the dining room to the kitchens, and more recently the private chambers of the la Motte Saint-Pierre family, the discovery of the hunting museum, a surprising and unforgettable visit!
